Hey, thanks for your work and your sharing with the community. I would be more than happy to share my data but I do not own and do not plan to create a google account. Do you have any other possibility to receive the json? |

Hey everyone!
I've been working on improving WashData's detection and suggestion algorithms, and the single biggest thing that would help is more real world data. Different appliances, brands, programs, and setups that I simply don't have access to myself.
So I've set up a way for you to contribute directly.
What I'm asking for is a single diagnostics export from Home Assistant. That's it. No manual data entry, no CSV wrangling - just three clicks and a file upload. Following link is a google submission form that will based on selected device type, categorize your uploads info correct folder in my google drive. Noone else other than me will have access to this data.
-> Contribute here
Privacy
The export contains your appliance's power readings and integration config, in latest update I made some fields REDACTED by default so users are not unknowigly sharing personal details here or in Issues submissions. Of course, review the file that you're sharing and decide if you're okay to share the data ((If you find any more fields to redact, please create Issue). It does not include your name, home details, location, or anything personal. I only use this data to improve the integration - nothing else.
Why it matters
Right now detection quality varies a lot between brands and appliance types. Every submission , even a single device, helps cover edge cases I'd never see from my own setup alone. The more variety we get, the better it works for everyone.
Thanks for using WashData!
